Full course description
During the seminar, topics including an overview of the test, how the test is scored, practice for all parts of the test, and tips to perform better on each section are covered. Participants practice how to prepare the presentation in the limited time allowed for that during the actual test, and an actual presentation is viewed and scored. Participants will have access to online materials for 30 days after the session ends, in case they want to review the materials and a basic course outline.
This August 4, 2020 seminar consists of printed handouts (available in CANVAS), and a synchronously delivered ZOOM presentation and interactive session. Once you have registered for the course and created a CANVAS account, you will be able to access the ZOOM link and course materials 30 minutes prior to the start of the seminar. You are strongly advised to join the course as early as you can, so you have time to resolve any computer or other technical issues. Remember that you will need to open CANVAS first and once you get inside CANVAS, you will find the ZOOM link to join the class in session.
If you have problems registering for the course or creating a CANVAS account, contact Dr. Janice Meyer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
On the day of the event, if you have problems accessing the ZOOM meeting, Ms. Lara can also send you the ZOOM link. However, you will not have any of the handouts if you cannot get into CANVAS. Please be sure to confirm registration by clicking on the link you will receive in your email.
